Zerbert is a great kick-back and chill strain, a plant whose fruity, sour, and sweet cocktail of flavours doesn’t challenge the novice user. It leans only slightly Indica-dominant (60/40) and has a non-confrontational THC level around 17% on average. As a strain that imparts relaxation, happiness, and hunger, it could become a new favourite weekend pastime for you. Users of any experience can get something out of the physically heavy tingle and relaxing, gradual build-up of flavours that you can get by snacking on a bit of Zerbert.
Let’s say you’ve completed a rough week and you’re ready to relax. You can lay back and enjoy some Netflix, a relaxing hobby, a pile of snacks, a great song. The high of the Zerbert strain won’t pulverise you or flash energy into your brain. It’s a chill plant for chill afternoons. When you want to banish racing thoughts of next week’s work or cure a loss of appetite brought on by stress, you can rely on the unfocused happy feeling of Zerbert. Zerbert can lower chronic pain, stress, and inflammation, as well as cure a nasty headache. The high builds gradually, passing over your body with subtly relaxing sensations before hitting your brain. At that point, you’ll start to feel tingly, laid back, and hungry.
If you want to settle in for a lazy night with your streaming service and a bag of snacks, Zerbert will help you on your journey with a bright high and unchallenging THC level. You’ll lose all sense of focus as you shiver your way to a state of satisfied calm, without even feeling sedated. For afternoon relaxation, this strain is a prescription we can recommend.

We’re not sure why Zerbert is called that. There’s an abstract connection between the concept of zerbert, the fart sound of someone putting their lips on someone else and blowing, and the strain’s flavours, which is that both could be described as “raspberry.” Other than that, the name may just be a random association or an expression of how non-essential this strain can make even the most stressful schedule feel.
The total body high is complemented by the strain’s flavour. The backpackboyz bred Zerbert from Blue Sherbet and Zkittlez strains (though other lineages list Sunset Sherbet instead of Blue). The taste is a sweet, candied berry sensation, fruity, sour, sweet, and mixed with distinct berry flavours such as blueberry and cherry. The bud is dark green with a layer of deep blue beneath. Its nugs are shaped like little spades and cloaked in a frost of mini crystals.
